What are good ways of getting rid of belly fat so that i have a flat stomach?

do crunches work?

Crunches don’t work. Need a proper nutrition and body exercises.

Follow these tips -

1) Eat more steam food, lean meat, lean protein, vegies and fruits

2) Cut out the junk food, soda drinks and snacks. Get rid of the junk food from the cupboards! Eat cashew / almond nuts instead.

3) drink plenty of water / green tea

4) Exercise – look at combining weights and cardio into your program. you can look at alternating upper and lower body exercises without rest, say bicep curls, then lunges , rest and repeat. With cardio, try sprinting 100m, jog 100m and repeat.

5) Have 5-6 healthy meals a day(1 plate portions) to keep your body satisfied

    Yes crunches work AFTER you do some cardio for at least 30 minutes. Crunches alone will not help you get rid of belly fat. Another cause of belly fat is junk food. Cut out junk, sugar, pop and all fast food, this helps significantly.

    The best way I have found is less carbs, if you can’t go completely without then eat rice in place of as much as you can. Also Crunches dont work. They will tone the muscles, but they wont make you lose the fat.

    I don’t see anything wrong with a rounded belly – neither do the people who love me and I’m lucky to say they’re all good people.
    I do know running/cycling will strip the fat off so you look like a whippet, but it takes time, discipline. good footwear/equipment and best of all a good club or trainer. If that’s what you want, go for it!
