The liver can only store so much at once. True bodybuilders typically avoid fruit for this reason. You want to follow up a workout with protein immediately after your workout (the initial 30 minute window is best), and then follow an hour after with *slow-digesting carbs*, whole-grain is ideal. (Oats, whole-grain pasta, etc.)</description>

Protein is the one thing that IS always good for your body. To build muscles and repair them you need protein!</description>
