The Abs Diet For Women- Just another Low-Carb Diet?

I am planning to purchase this book based on a recomendation. Can someone give me just the basics of the plan. Is it based on a low-carb lifestyle?

Thanks!

No. It’s based on twelve foods you should eat. They include things like oatmeal, whey protein, blueberrys, almonds and other nuts. There are a series of weight lifting exercises and you alternate these with cardio (I do walking). The diet is great if you can afford the foods. You get to eat six small meals per day. I like it because you don’t pay hundreds of dollars for it. Your initial investment is the book, you buy the food anyway, and you have the option of purchasing the weights and ball.

You can use a chair and milk jugs instead if you have to.
You can get a better idea of it at the men’s health website. Check it out before you buy the book.
