What exercises do I need to do to lose my belly fat?
Ok I am a very fit person 5′8 and weight 138lbs. My stomach is completely flat but still I can’t see the six pack. Its covered by a little layer of fat that I need to lose. I do tons of abs exercises, but I still can’t see the six pack, I need to lose that little fat that is covering it. So what are good exercises for this?
You need to get bigger abdominals, so try adding some more weight to the exercises. Also check your diet and cardio to see what you need to do to get that little fat off.

What do you do to work on your abs?
I want to tighten my stomach up and slim it down a bit
Any tips please?
To slim down your stomach you need to do cardiovascular exercises. Treadmill, swimming, what ever you like. By doing that it will reduce the fat all over your body, especially in your stomach. A lot of people ask how they get their abs to show (with fat on their stomach)-it’s not possible. You will first have to get your body fat percentage quite a bit lower.
Once you start getting a flatter stomach, try doing daily crunches. Do some with your knees straight up, then turn your hips to one side and do some more. That will get all-around results.
If I were you, a gym membership would greatly help you. There you will find machines used specifically for your abdominal muscles.
Good Luck!

I am pretty strong and toned in my abs,
But i want them to be harder and more toned…
Right now you can only see the line going down the center of my abs…
I want a workout routine that works me hard and goes every otherday so i can keep doing my arms routine.
Thank you.
Everybody out there is curious and wants to know “how do I get a cut ripped 6 pack” ? Well the truth actually is, that everyone already has a good looking stomach, its just covered by that evil thing we know AS FAT. The six pack comes from the Linea Alba and the three dendinous inscriptions crossing the rectrus abdominus. Basically all that was, is big meaning less words if you ask me. So now your wondering ,how do I get rid of the fat to uncover those great 6 pack of abs I have hiding under that layer of fat?
The #1 MOST important thing is your DIET !!!! You simply must follow a good nutrional diet that fits your excersise level and your daily activity. You could simply do thousands and thousands of crunches everyday and not see a bit of difference if you are not eating the right amount of foods to supply your body with what it needs to get rid of the fat. What you considerably need to be eating is nutritious foods such as, meat like chicken, beef, steak and of course tuna. Not only this but veggies and fruits as well in addition to the meat. Anything that does not encourage more body fat is good. You need to create a deficit of about 500 calories per day and you will lose 1 pound per week. Now depending on your excersise level that could significantly increase. Eat less and excersise more is the goal you will want to set.

Running, eating right, crunches? I will tell you, one way to get off that extra little bit of fat is "White meat chicken". Eat it with everything or by itself. It is good three meals a day if you want it, but it is basicly fat free and I used to be bigger, and I lost about 30 pounds in six months, and now I love it and actually have to eat bad stuff just to keep from being skin and bones sometimes… Hope this helps…

an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

I’m a little chubby in the tummy and thigh area. I’m an indoor, busy person who doesn’t have time to go out to exercise. I don’t want to spend money on drugs, exercising videos, and any other sort of equipment. What exercises can I do indoors that can help me lose the fat in the stomach and thigh areas, or, if that’s not possible, all the areas altogether?
If you have satelite Tv, there is a channel called Fit tv. They have many different shows from yoga to cardio. My friend lost 30 lbs doing the show called "shimmy" (belly dance). I think this is the best way to lose weight without going to the gym.

This video takes you through the evolution of 21st century ab training.
You’ll find 6 different ab exercises where the focus isn’t on crunching or spinal flexion, but instead is geared towards providing a core workout that offers stabilization and resistance rotation.
Just because these ab exercises aren’t your traditional crunches, doesn’t mean that you won’t get that great ab burning feeling following your workout.
These core exercises will still help build 6 pack abs, but in a much safer way that will reduce the incidence of low back pain.
The first ab exercise in the evolution of ab training is a simple plank.
This exercise needs to be mastered by beginners and those at risk of low back pain. The goal here is to work up to a 90 second to 2 minute hold in the plank position.
The next core exercise is the side plank or side bridge. A little more difficult than the regular plank, the trick here is to keep your body in a straight line and keep those hips raised.
Once you’ve mastered those ab exercises, try the plank with your elbows on the stability ball.
According to Men’s Health magazine, this exercise works your abs 30% hard than a regular plank. To increase the difficulty of this ab exercise, try moving the ball further away from your body.
The fourth ab exercise to work your entire core is the stability ball jackknife.
Here, you will place your feet on the stability ball and your hands on the floor or elbows on a bench. Then you will bring your knees to your chest, while maintaining the plank position, and then return to the starting position.
Similar to the ab wheel, the next exercise in the evolution of ab training is the stability ball rollout.
Place the ball in front of you, with your hands on the ball, roll the ball out, stretching and maintaining your back in a straight line, and contract to return to the starting position.
The last ab exercise is a plank rotation.
When you take a regular plank and combine it with a side plank, the subsequent resisting rotation works to provide a total body workout.
So to perform this exercise you will start in the side plank position, and without moving your hips rotate to a regular plank, and then over to the opposite side plank position.
Continue to do this, while keeping your back straight and hips raised.
Crunches are old news. You just won’t get the same total body benefits of this new type of training.
Try out these 6 ab exercises that will provide not only an exceptional core work, but a total body workout as well.

what is the quickest and best way to get a ripped midsection by the end of June? is it possible? I go to the gym at least 4 times a week and I work out a different muscle group along with 15-20 of abs every day.
Increase your ab work and adjust your diet. No matter how ripped your abs are, you won’t see them if you have a layer of fat covering them.
For the "washboard" look, shoot for # of reps. At least 100. I do abs every other day for 10 to 12 mins. straight. I’ll do crunches (upper abs) til failure, immediately followed by frog kicks (lower abs) til failure, then go right to side crunches(obliques) on each side til failre, then back to regular crunches. This gives the ab muscles the ripped look that you’re looking for.
On the diet, shoot for lower carbs…about 180 to 250 grams a day. Every 10th day have a "cheat" day, where you eat a normal (about 350 to 400 grams) amount of carbs. Decrease your fat intake to about 50 grams daily, none of it trans fat. As for protein, with the amount of gym time you do, have at least your bodyweight x 1.5 to arrive at how many grams of protein you need. If you do need or want to overeat on any given day, try to stick to eating high protein foods, not carbs.
Also, add some cardio, at least 4 or 5 times a week for 1 hour, to your workouts. This will increase your metabolism and burn more fat.
This should lower your bodyfat level and sitrate you ab muscles.

I want to know witch exercises to do so i can get a cut ripped core to show without getting all huge and buff. I just want to be lean and a nice ripped core
To get ripped abs you need to get rid of the belly fat that is covering them. To do that, you need to train your entire body, not just your core. This includes weight training and cardio training.
If you’re trying to get ripped abs, you have to drop the amount of calories you eat in a day. Typically 300-500 is a good number. Now since you’re cutting calories throughout the day, your muscles won’t have all of the material they need to build and grow stronger, hence you won’t get big at all. It is impossible to both burn fat and gain muscle, there’s simply no way to do both at the same time unless you’re using a ton of expensive supplements.
By lifting weights and cutting calories, you’re actually burning fat and preserving your current muscle mass. This is essential as you need muscle mass to burn fat.
So cut the calories and lift weights. You won’t get bigger, you’ll just become lean and cut

I’m basically looking for a workout routine that generates ripped abs most effectively, not necessarily quickly and vice versa. I’m also looking for a routine that does both, quick and effective ab routine.
On an additional note, I wouldn’t mind if someone listed some foods to eat.
now the best way to get ripped abs is to do multiple ab routines not just one here are 2 that i do:
A1. Hanging leg raises
3 sets, 15-20 reps
Superset to:
A2. Hanging knee ups (bent-knee leg raises)
3 sets, 15-20 reps
(no rest between supersetted exercises A1 & A2, 60 sec. between supersets)
B1. Weighted swiss ball crunches (or weighted cable crunches)
3 sets, 15-20 reps
Superset to:
B2. Incline bench reverse crunches
3 sets, 15-20 reps
(no rest between supersetted exercises B1 & B2, 60 sec. between supersets)
for eating i would check out this article that show you 6 Nutrition Secrets For Great Abs here it is:

check it out really good information at this site

Workouts that i can do at home to get ripped abs?
jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

No,you will reach your near maximum height in you teens and then slow down until you finally stop growing. The onlt stunting that may occur is that you won’t build up as much body fat, just try to keep the muscle to body fat ratio in check. Nothing wrong with being fit and trim, but I’d try not to look like those body builders.
