I am a very busy person and do not have any time to work out at a gym, I am mostly worried about my man boobs that have recently been getting bigger on me. Does any one know some good at home exercises to do without buying any equipment. Also how can i help to get rid of my man boobs besides exercise, any tips?
I’d say get into a good push up rootine and buy a jump rope. 15 Minutes of jump rope at a decent speed is equivilent to a 30 minute jog and will work your pecks(boobs) and arms.

actuaaly work.i mean have you seen any results from the abs workout?I just bought the pilates abs workout and the lower body workout from target,it seemed so easy that i did the ab workout twice the night i bought it?If you use this workout give me your opinion on if it works for you.i mean has it helped flatten your abs?
I thought it was really difficult to do. You may have wrong form and that’s why it’s easy for you. The best thing for you to do is go to a local Pilates studio that has classes and just join one class to get your form correct. That way, when you go home and watch the videos you will know what to do.

I am a 12 and a half year-old boy. I am wondering how to get into shape, like abs and stuff. I’m not trying to be a HUGE bodybuilder or anything, just want to be in shape and lose that flab. I currently weigh about 108 lbs. Is anyone willing to be like my personal trainer? I want someone who really cares, and that is willing to give me advice almost anytime. It is preferable that you have Yahoo! messenger, so that I can contact you, I am always logged on by phone. Please if you are willing to do this leave you Yahoo! ID in the answer. Thank you.

I’m not fat by any means but i would like that "flat ab" look.
Every website i go on it says "crunches don’t work" and then it just turns into one of those "buy my workout video" scams.
I’d like to know an effective way to get these results without hurting my back and neck doing crunches.
Like Jay says above the trick is to start by losing your belly fat and crunches don’t help accomplish that. Unlike Jay says you don’t need to stop eating too much. There are exercises that help burn your belly fat and these can be followed by those for abs. May be you have seen a lot of buy my workout scams. But I’ll share the one that has been working for me and my girl friend for the past few months. Its at http://urlcantik.com/ke/absworkout/ and the good thing about this program is that it tells you what to focus on. One of the first things there is reducing belly fat which gives you a flat stomach. There are exercises shown on how to achieve this.

I’m too poor to afford the book, and all the copies are checked out at the library. From what I gather, it’s basically – don’t eat crap, eat lots of protein, and exercise often, right? Anything else significant?
You asked, so here are the basics:
1. You MUST exercise if you want to lose weight and keep it off, so do something every day, even if it’s just a 15-minute walk around the neighborhood. Don’t say you don’t have time for exercise; you have to MAKE time. Yes, it takes time and effort, but you’re worth it, right?
2. Walk as much as you want, but don’t do cardio for more than 40 minutes at a time. If you do, you risk burning muscle instead of fat.
3. Do strength training three times a week using lighter weights and doing circuits of 12 repetitions. Also, do your ab exercises on strength training days.
4. Your diet will make you or break you. You have probably learned bad eating habits over time (most people do). That’s not your fault, but now you have to deal with it. Make a commitment to yourself to unlearn those bad habits and re-learn better habits.
5. Eat breakfast every day within an hour of getting up. People who don’t are 450% more likely to be overweight.
6. Eat six small meals or snacks per day instead of three squares per day or one big meal per day. Your body expends energy digesting your food, so eating smaller portions more often keeps your metabolism running high because you’re constantly digesting food.
7. Avoid these as much as possible:
– Trans fat (any type of partially or fully hydrogenated oil)
– High fructose corn syrup (soft drinks are LOADED with it)
– Fast food
– Junk food
– White sugar, white flour, white rice, white potatoes
– The deadly C’s (cookies, cakes, candy, chips, cola)
8. Build your diet around these trim-body-friendly foods:
– Nuts, any kind (almonds are best)
– Beans/Legumes
– Fresh vegetables (green is GREAT!!!)
– Dairy products (as long as they’re low-fat or non-fat)
– Eggs
– Lean meats (fish and poultry top the list)
– Olive oil
– Whole grain breads/cereals/pasta
– Fresh fruits (anything that ends in "berry" is a winner)
– Tea (green tea or black pekoe tea)
– Cold water or ice water (your body has to expend extra calories to heat it up)
9. Desserts and treats are the exception, not the rule. Having said that, however, (1) you can have a couple of pieces of chocolate every day – just don’t overdo, and (2) Allow yourself one "cheat meal" every week where you eat and drink whatever you want as long as you don’t gorge yourself. That’ll help keep you from feeling deprived and it’ll make it easier to stick with your new healthy eating plan.
Good luck! For more information, go to the Discussion boards on the Mens Health website and check out the bulletin boards for The Abs Diet.

I’ve been trying to lose weight from my stomach for a long time but nothing is working for me, either I eat too much of the wrong things or I’m not eating enough. What can I do to get rid of this stubborn belly fat?
you’ve got to stick with it. Really give it a good month. Eat less but don’t totally starve. Cut down on sugar and salt. Do crunches, and walk

i am a girl aged 15 i play alot of sport and want to strengthen my abs mainly lower abs. ~The equptment i have is an exercise ball and 1.5kg,3kg and 5kg weights. Any other good exercises i could try for legs, butt, arms etc please help
For your legs and butt, nothing works like the lunge. If you do sports, I’m sure you know how to do a lunge. Try doing 10-15 of those across a hallway or something. Also good for legs and butt are squats. Don’t let your knee go past your ankle, instead act like you’re lowering your butt to sit on a chair. You can add the handweights to either of these exercises. For abs, try leg lifts. Lay on your back and lift the legs (keeping them straight) 10 times up (try to get a 90 degree angle) 10 times to the left, and 10 times to the right. Push ups, while they aren’t the most fun exercise, are awesome for your arms and abs. Have fun!

I do jogging in the morings, and im looking for some abs workout to make them look great after doing the cardio workout.
There are many variations of Ab Workouts that can be done. Keep in mind that there are really 3 sections of the stomach that you must work constantly in order to see results: Upper abdominal muscles, Lower abdominal muscles, and Obliques (muscles on the side of the stomach). Here is a list of a few abdominal exercises.
1. Sit-up/Crunch – This can be done on various machines, exercise ball, or on a floor mat.
2. Leg Lifts – many ways this exercise can be done including hang from a bar, or leg lift machine which allows weight to be supported by elbows, sitting on the edge of bench, or finally lying on back and lifting legs toward head. (Variation: Jackknifes, which you bring your outstretch arms and legs above your body from a lying position)
3. Use Triceps rope to do weighed crunches.
The list goes on and on. Please check out the link provided as BodyBuilding.com does and outstanding job of not only explaining the exercise but also proving pictures of the various exercises. 47 in total!!

how can u flatten yourabs w/out losing wait bcause i love everything except for my abs. p.s situps don’t work.
Bicycle crunches. This form of exercise is proved to be much more effective than situps or crunches alone.
" Bicycle Crunch Exercise came in at the top of the list of best exercises for the rectus abdominus. This is the conclusion of a study at San Diego State University that compared 13 common abdominal exercises in order to find which ones really strengthen the abs. Each exercise was ranked for muscle stimulation (measured with EMG) in the rectus abdominis, the external obliques and internal obliques."
here is a video on how to perform these exercises

hope this helped and good luck!

2. Tabata Squats….where you do as many squats as possible for 20 seconds rest for 10 seconds then repeat for 5 minutes
3. lunges, jump squats, hill sprints

I am going on a mainly whole grains fruits and veggies diet, I am doing 200 sit-ups a day and I am running one mile each day at a speed of 4-5 miles per hour. Will this flatten my abs and make me lose 5 pounds this summer? Also If I stretched for 15-30 minutes a day would that make me able to touch my toes in 2 months? Also I am drinking nothing but water and occasionly juice but only one every other day.
I weight 95 pounds and I am 4′10 I want to lose 5 pounds and flatten my abs in 2 months.
This is a new idea i am gonig to start it today if i get mostly yes
The situps will help flatten your abs (you don’t need to do that many every day), but not the jogging. Jogging is cardio – good for your heart – though I don’t think you need to go that fast. Stretching should always be done before you go running and also after to help you cool down and not get muscle spasms or cramps. Why do you think you need to lose 5 pounds? 95 pounds is a GREAT weight for someone your height – I’m 4′ 10" also and anywhere between 95 and 105 is the ideal weight for that height. Whole grains, fruits and veggies are very good for you, just don’t forget the protien.

what is the best abs workout with out a gym. And how many situps should I do everyday. because I want my abs to be shown clearly. I eat a lot of protein and piotausissum. My body is muscle up and cut up but my stomach is very flat. I want my abs to pop out. I do seven a days of cardio and 6 six days of weight trainning. I have to be on the top of my game because I am a professional model and I need help.
If you don’t mind that I share with you an exercise that we did in the military I think this will help your abs.
We would do a modified version of the BEAR SITUP. We used a normal kitchen chair and sit in it sideways. Put our feet under something heavy like the dresser or stove or fridge and do sit ups by going all the way back to the floor and all the way back up. Each other pass back and forth twist to one side, then the other working both sides equally.
Warning, warning, warning!!! don’t do more than 4 or 5 for the first time even though you might be pretty fit. That exercise is not for novices to abuse the first few times. Your body will figure out what your capable day two. Just do no more than 5 and see how well you roll out of bed tomorrow.
