Your Abs Take Shape Inside Out!

July 21st, 2010

With so many people saying so many things about how to lose stomach fat, flatten your belly, firm your mid section and the list goes on; It’s no wonder there is confusion and failure among the masses.

If you want to know the down and dirty “real deal” about all of this…. please read on! When you’re done and  want more of the Cold Hard Facts the stomach fat weight loss process go visit: The Truth About Abs!

What and how much you eat DOES MATTER! However, it does not have to be an agonizing change of life! Losing the exterior or unsightly excess fat can and IS actually done from the INSIDE OUT.

Let’s be real clear on how the process actually works without all the hype or magic bullet CRAP! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you’re finished reading the next few paragraphs as they directly pertain to the plain and simple facts regarding this “fat loss & stomach tightening” issue for MEN & WOMEN ALIKE!

How many calories you ingest versus the number of calories you burn during any 24 hour period determines whether you will store fat or burn fat!! That’s right people nothing on this planet can do that job for you except YOUR OWN BODY! YOUR BODY will take in everything you give it and hold onto or retain it until such a time that it’s required for fuel. How hard and complex others make this simple fact is for their benefit NOT YOURS!!

Now, that being said… let’s look at something even more enlightening and potentially worse yet for you! When you try starving yourself during the course of the day or maybe even two or three days you not only disrupt your metabolism’s digestive cycle you create the illusion, within the mind to body cycle, that it must now retain everything for as long as possible because it does not know for certain if or when it will next receive nutrients! DON’T DO THIS!!

You can and should eat up to five small meals/snacks a day of whole food, high protein, oriented products! Yes, I have specific regimented caloric intake plans for all of you that want them. I will most certainly be sharing them and much more with you over time.

What I really want you to know is the following information:

It’s about ripping that core group of abs from the inside out. Beneath the fat there IS muscle and when I share with you how you only need to focus on a very small group of exercises for less than 15 minutes every day your entire thought process towards having a flatter more muscular mid section is going change dramatically! Your new thoughts will be focused on “I’M READY LET’S GET STARTED”!!

My own personal case study is living proof that at age 20 OR at age 45 it works exactly the same except to say…… “I think I looked much better at age 20″ LOL.

You see it does not matter what your starting weight is or what your age is (unless you’re under doctors orders NOT to exercise and the like) because “Rip the Core” literally cuts to the problem(s) that need to be immediately addressed. If you’re willing to start then we are already 90% there! I live by the motto “the hardest thing about running a mile is taking that first step”!!

Within 48 hours of taking the first step and implementing the IDEAL DIET which is the only other step required… THE RESULTS ARE FELT WITHIN THE LOCATION IT MATTERS MOST – IN THE CORE!

I can and will be breaking this down for you with an easy to follow “Body Success plan”! All you need to do is tell me NOW if you….

1. Have a desire to merely modify NOT change your current approach & set NEW goals

2. Control your caloric intake and outflow expenditure(s)

3. Establish proper eating habits that consist of a five times a day (snack/meal) regiment

4. And last is to invest “10 measly little minutes” of your time when you wake up in the morning and “5 more measly little minutes” before you go to sleep TO LOOK & FEEL GREAT IN NO TIME FLAT!!

I mean it! THAT’S ALL that is ever required and we will be doing it together!! That’s right you and I are going to accomplish something naturally that most people NEVER get!

Someone once told me it can’t be done and that person is now my biggest source of joy and happiness! Why… because they look the way they want to look, feel the way they want to feel and have been that way for over 20 years because they continue to follow this plan. It was just told to me the other day that
“I even get to indulge from time to time the way I want because I now know how to counteract my sinfully delightful poor choices”!

If you tell me that’s not a great story and one you want to experience BECAUSE ITS REAL, TANGIBLE AND EASILY ATTAINED WITH MINOR LIFESTYLE CORRECTION…. I can honestly say: that you probably should not even start and just keep seeking the “magic bullet” answers. Do as you and others have already done and I guarantee those similar results of….. lose weight fast and then gain it all back even faster.

Make a commitment to yourself and take that first step on this “mile journey for you” and I’M IN IT TO WIN IT WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!

This Is Me…. I’m just a “garden variety” 45 year old guy that wants to see you happy about being you! By the way… see where my hands are in this photo THAT’S THE CORE!!!!

More comments and photos of case studies through the process along with others that have followed this simple way have volunteered proof for you that it works because they were thrilled at their results.

I don’t have my rippled six pack abs like I did when I was 20 and what’s more that’s NOT why I am here providing this program to you! Everyone has their own “comfort zone” or “ideal body feel”!  PLEASE DON’T GET CAUGHT UP IN ALL THE NONSENSE, FAKE CLAIMS OR PROMISES. Again, I am not about the hype, lies, promises or fraudulent claims and photos! I’m just another guy that sincerely wants to HELP YOU….

1. Show you how to do what you need to do at your own pace.

2. Achieve what you want to achieve at your own pace and truly attain the desired results.

3. And most of all… show you how to enjoy the process! Because it’s the start of a beautiful relationship with the NEW YOU!!!

I am ready, willing and quite capable of showing you the way just as soon as you decide to stop wishing for change and start taking action. WE WILL SUCCEED, YOU WILL SEE RESULTS AND WE ARE GOING TO ACTUALLY HAVE FUN DOING IT!

Skeleton Key: Bone Cells May Play a Part in Regulating the Body’s Metabolism

July 27th, 2010

Insulin , the well-known blood sugar hormone, may have a newly discovered function in the body that will rattle your bones–regulating skeletal growth and breakdown.

Two new studies published online July 22 in Cell show that insulin stimulates both bone building and breakdown in mice through the hormone’s effects on two types of bone cells: bone-building osteoblasts and bone-resorbing osteoclasts. What’s more, these cells are involved in an intricate hormonal loop that in turn regulates not only insulin production, but also blood sugar levels and energy metabolism. The studies suggest that the skeleton may be an important regulator of whole-body energy metabolism, joining the ranks of known metabolic regulators such as muscle and fat. The authors conclude that their findings have important implications for understanding and treating metabolic disorders such as type 2 diabetes as well as bone conditions like osteoporosis .

Two Sides of the Same Coin: Gym-bots and Obese People May Share the Same Brain Pathway

July 21st, 2010

The runner tethered to the treadmill and the couch potato gripping a bag of chips may seem like polar opposites, but new research suggests that a single alteration in the brain’s reward system could cause both obsessions.

More than one third of regular gym-goers show signs of exercise dependence, continuing to exercise even when sick or injured or arranging their lives around working out. Nearly half of all people diagnosed with an eating disorder report excessive levels of exercise to control body shape and weight and to relieve stress and improve mood. Researchers have developed two opposing hypotheses to explain how someone could become addicted to exercise, eating or any other behavior. The first hypothesis states that these people’s brains grow more sensitive to reward; they find exercise more pleasurable, so they seek it more. Alternatively, these individuals may grow less sensitive to reward; over time they begin to require more exercise to achieve the same level of pleasure.

Does running ACTUALLY help with getting rid of belly fat?

July 21st, 2010

I’m 17 by the way in case you’re assuming I’m some middle aged mommy trying to get rid of post-pregnancy fat. haha.

Fat is burned when you walk, talk, run, swim, bike or any other activity. Glycogen/carbohydrates is burned in a larger proportion when you need energy for quick intense activities such as sprinting or weight lifting.

Running burns fat and is the primary fuel source for ultra distance athletes (or distances that require 3+ hours.). Belly fat can be more quickly burned off by low intensity long slow distance running. That is running at conversational pace for 30-60 minutes 4x per week. If you wish to target the belly fat faster, spin cycling cross training and swimming will accelerate the process as core muscle groups are engaged in running, biking and swimming.

Skip the sit ups and take a pilates class instead.

I would also recommend a pilates class. The fat that is burned the fastest is the fat that is closest to the muscle groups being worked at an aerobic (fat burning) rate.

are there any free sites that will show me some great exercises for getting rid of belly fat?

July 20th, 2010

I think I have to clarify something for you. You cannot spot reduce weight, meaning that you can’t only lose weight from one area of your body by doing a certain exercise. So for example running won’t only help your legs and crunches won’t only make you lose weight from your belly. When you do cardio exercise, which is any exercise that gets your heart rate up and makes you sweat, your body starts burning off calories taking them from the stored carbs and fat in your body. So when you are doing cardio exercising, no matter what kind of exercise you are doing you are losing weight from the most prevalent source on your body. So if you have a big butt/thighs you’re probably taking most of your weight off from that area. The only way to flatten your stomach is to do cardio exercise and get a healthy low calorie diet. Try to stay at 1800 calories or below everyday, but don’t go too low stay above 1600 calories in a day. So to recap: 1. You can only flatten your tummy by doing cardio and you’ll end up losing weight from your whole body. 2. There are NO exercises you can do to ONLY flatten your stomach. 3. Stay between 1600 and 1800 calories in a day 4. Do about 45-60 min of cardio 4 days per week(running, stationary bike, stair master, even swimming can be cardio) 5. Out of the 1600-1800 calories in a day that you are getting at least 250-300 should be from fruits and veggies. Any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to email me. This is what I specialize in.

A diet for getting rid of belly fat?

July 18th, 2010

a few days ago on The Dr’S they had a diet for banishing belly fat but I missed what the diet was, does anyone know what they said about it or anyone know of a diet for ridding the belly fat?

Here is how to get rid of belly fat:

First you should know that it is not possible to spot reduce fat in just one part of your body, like your belly. In order to lose belly fat you will need to lose the fat all over your body.

In short you may need to start:

1) Eating healthier, this means:

Eat smaller meals
Eat more meals a day
Don’t starve yourself
Eat more vegetables and fruit
Drink more water
Less sugars and empty calories (less soft drinks, cakes, cookies)
Switch to whole wheat versions of your bread and pasta, brown rice instead of white rice

2) Exercising:

Forget crunches, crunches work your ab muscles but they don’t burn enough calories to eliminate belly fat, if you do hundreds of crunches daily you will have great abs but you won’t see them under your belly fat.

I prefer full body exercises they burn the most calories and increase you metabolism for a few hours after your workout.

Get a training partner or if you have a lot of weight to lose consider a fitness trainer, a very worthwhile investment – of the money you save on junk food for example =)

Try also to reduce stress and get enough sleep. Both of these are related to weight gain and emotional eating.

Any good ideas for getting rid of belly fat besides crunches and sit-ups?

July 16th, 2010

The only fat on my body is my belly. I have had three children and I am small everywhere else. My belly isn’t real big, just some jelly to get rid of! Help!

Crunches and sit-ups only increase muscle mass in the abdominal region. In order to rid yourself of fat you must do cardio while taking in less calories at each meal. Belly fat is the most stubborn on anyone’s body so it takes some work. The best combo for burning fat is weights and cardio.

What are good ways of getting rid of belly fat so that i have a flat stomach?

July 13th, 2010

do crunches work?

Crunches don’t work. Need a proper nutrition and body exercises.

Follow these tips -

1) Eat more steam food, lean meat, lean protein, vegies and fruits

2) Cut out the junk food, soda drinks and snacks. Get rid of the junk food from the cupboards! Eat cashew / almond nuts instead.

3) drink plenty of water / green tea

4) Exercise – look at combining weights and cardio into your program. you can look at alternating upper and lower body exercises without rest, say bicep curls, then lunges , rest and repeat. With cardio, try sprinting 100m, jog 100m and repeat.

Here’s a review link to a program

For flatter stomachs, read this blog on the truth about six pack abs -
